Help Council make a submission to the 2026 Basin Plan Review
Griffith City Council is preparing a submission to the 2026 Murray–Darling Basin Plan Review, and we want to ensure our position reflects the views, priorities and lived experiences of our community.
The Basin Plan is currently under review by the Murray–Darling Basin Authority (MDBA). This is the first comprehensive review since the Basin Plan was introduced in 2012 and is required under the Water Act 2007 (Cth).
Water management decisions made through this review will have long‑term implications for our region, our industries, our environment and our community. That is why your input is important.
This survey has been developed to understand where our community stands on key Basin Plan issues. The results will directly inform Council’s submission to the MDBA, helping to ensure it is grounded in community wants and needs.
Your responses will be used to identify common themes, priorities and concerns. Individual responses will not be attributed to you.
