Expression of Interest Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Providers
Griffith City Council invites Expressions of Interest from Employee Assistance Program (EAP) providers to proactively support the mental health and wellbeing of our employees.
EAP providers are expected to work with employees across a diverse range of needs. Existing Griffith City Council EAP providers are also invited to resubmit their details as part of this process.
In addressing the key areas of the Expression of Interest, providers are asked to: • Provide qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Mediation and any other relevant fields. • Provide a Certificate of Currency for Professional Indemnity Insurance. • Provide a Certificate of Currency for Public Liability Insurance. • Provide a current Working with Children Check. • Provide a schedule of fees for EAP services. • Demonstrate experience in Psychology or Counselling or Mediation. • Demonstrate appropriate experience and capability to support a diverse range of employees. • Confirm availability to accept new and ongoing referrals within reasonable timeframes. • Confirm availability to respond promptly to emergency situations (e.g., critical incident debriefings). • Confirm capacity to provide consultations via secure video link, teleconference, phone or face-to-face. • Provide de-identified (data-only) feedback on EAP usage every six months to support ongoing workplace wellbeing initiatives. • Comply with Council’s EAP Policy. • Maintain strict client confidentiality.
Expressions of Interest for Council’s Employee Assistance Program must be submitted in writing, addressing all of the above requirements.
