Overview

Council is facilitating the development of a new Community Strategic Plan (CSP) which is the highest-level plan that a Council will prepare. Our CSP will be known as “Your Vision Our Future 2025-2035”.

Together with the community, we will identify the:

  • long-term vision,
  • aspirations, and
  • main priorities for the local government area.

The plan will provide a roadmap of how this will be achieved.

Community input

Over the last 2-and-a-half years we have been actively seeking to hear all voices from our community, through a range of engagement activities including: surveys, idea walls, Council Committees, events, meetings, school visits and pop-up stalls (Council Catch Up).

From February 2024 to December 2024, we held specific, targeted engagement and launched a survey to allow the community to provide their feedback to develop the CSP.

Thank you to those who contributed feedback which is being used to create the draft plan.

You can view the What Our Community Said document. It provides an overview including what residents love about the Griffith Local Government Area, the challenges and priorities for our future.
