Winners have been announced
Griffith’s striking new mural on the Scenic Hill water reservoir now has a name. The name, Taste of Griffith, was selected as the winning entry thanks to the creativity of local school students.
Mayor Doug Curran and mural artist HEESCO reviewed all the entries and were impressed by the thought and originality on display. In the end, the winning name, Taste of Griffith, was submitted by two students, Kandice Khouri from Griffith North Public School and Chelsea Quarisa from Griffith East Public School.
A big thank you to all who participated in the competition. It is fantastic to see our local youth getting involved in the community.
Chelsea Quarisa and Kandice Khouri
Heesco’s mural is more than art—it’s a celebration of Griffith’s people, history and future.
