Scenic Hill - Our Hill

Scenic Hill sits on Wiradjuri Country, recognised as Ngurambang Murru (Sacred Cultural Country), and we acknowledge and respect its ongoing cultural significance.

It is a cherished natural landmark, offering incredible views, walking tracks and a natural escape right on our doorstep.

We would love to hear from you. What do you love about Scenic Hill and what improvements could we make?

Provide feedback using the buttons below. Your feedback will directly inform the Scenic Hill Master Plan and help shape the future of this important place.

Recently, Council staff, Councillors and the Scenic Hill Advisory Group met on site with the master planner who will help guide its future. It was clear there is work to do, with some areas showing signs of litter, vandalism and wear.

But this is also the beginning of something positive.

The Scenic Hill Master Plan will help shape future improvements, including better walking tracks and upgraded lookouts. It is an important first step in planning for Scenic Hill's future, with any proposed works subject to further detailed design, feasibility assessments and available funding.

Council is also working through grant opportunities to support early clean up and renewal efforts.

But Scenic Hill is not just a Council project. It belongs to all of us.

That is why we are launching ❤️ Our Hill, a reminder that caring for this place is a shared responsibility.

Small actions matter. Picking up rubbish, respecting signage and reporting damage all help protect this important part of Griffith.

View the Precedent Study document to the right on this page as a reference guide. It includes examples of similar projects to spark ideas and discussion – it does not represent a set plan for Scenic Hill.
