The Yoogali McCormack Levee Upgrades (stage 2A & 2B) project received funding from the Australian Government.
Council is currently awaiting to outcome of a funding application which will be announced in late 2026.

Road Closure – McCormack Road

Road raising works for Stage 2A (Newman Road to Bosanquet Road intersection) are progressing well. With the subbase completed, kerb and gutter is now being installed on the northern side of McCormack Road from Newman Road to the Bosanquet Road intersection this week.
Kerb and gutter along the channel bank in Stage 2B (Bosanquet Road intersection to Burley Griffin Way) will also be installed soon, then earthworks on the channel bank will commence.
