At the Ordinary Meeting of Council held 12 November 2024 it was resolved that the draft Community Engagement Strategybe placed on public exhibition for a minimum of 28 days.
Council is required to notify the public and provide the opportunity for submissions regarding this document.
The draft Engagement Strategy may be viewed at the Council Chambers, 1 Benerembah Street Griffith, the Griffith City Library, as well as using the link on this page.
Anyone wishing to make comment on the draft Community Engagement Strategy can do so in writing addressed to the General Manager, Griffith City Council, PO Box 485, GRIFFITH NSW 2680 or provide an online survey below.
Your input will be used to ensure the draft the Community Engagement and Participation Plan meets our community's needs.
This Plan will guide how we notify and deliver engagement that provides meaningful ways for the community to participate and shape the future of the Griffith Local Government Area (LGA)
This will enhance the capacity of Council to make well-informed, sustainable decisions that clearly reflect the balanced views of the community.
The engagement closes on 13 December 2024.
